About Fluxtrio

Updated:

Who runs the project

Fluxtrio is an independent, open source project for comparing electric vehicle range. It is run by Ѕtаnіѕlаv Μаlес.

Ѕtаnіѕlаv Μаlес runs Fluxtrio as an independent project for comparing electric vehicle range and running costs, based in the Czech Republic. The project is not affiliated with any carmaker, dealer or energy supplier. Content is not based on our own road tests or professional certification; it relies on published sources and the calculation approach described in the methodology.

Why it exists

A single certified range figure does not answer whether a car can cover your winter motorway journey with a battery reserve. Fluxtrio lets you change the conditions while keeping the underlying vehicle inputs consistent. It shows the consequences for energy, range and electricity cost so that you can inspect the assumptions before choosing a vehicle or planning a trip.

Data and limits

Vehicle records contain WLTP or EPA figures, usable battery capacity and source links. We prioritise manufacturer specifications, price lists and official certification material, with the year and market attached. Published ADAC and NAF tests and Geotab analyses cited in the guides provide external evidence under their own conditions. They are not our road tests or automatic calibration points for a vehicle variant.

Calculator results and vehicle tables are model estimates. The model is not a simulation of every part of a journey. Preliminary figures and estimated inputs carry explicit warnings; a result based on those inputs is not a homologation result.

Funding and independence

The site is prepared for advertising revenue. Displaying ads depends on service approval and consent settings; this statement does not mean ads are currently running. Affiliate monetization is disabled. Public tables are not ranked by commission, and more favourable model results are not for sale. Electricity prices in examples are editable assumptions rather than supplier offers.

Read our editorial policy for verification and corrections, and our methodology for an explanation of the inputs and limitations. Report a specific issue through contact, with the variant and supporting source.
